My Trip

So I came back from Nigeria about a week ago and I really had fun. It is completely different from America. Foods and snacks are sold for a way cheaper price and people sell stuff by the roadside all the time. But the roads are orrible. People always blow their horn at each other and it's as if there are no specific sides to drive on because people are driving back an forth on the same side of the road. But when you are stuck in traffic you can just buy a drink or snack from the man people walking by. Also, houses in nigeria tend to be large with huge living rooms. And all the houses have gates on them for protection against robbers. But friends and family visit you all the time and you have househelps. The only thing that is kind of weird for me is that Nigerians speak British English or what they call The Queen's English but without the accent. But all in all I had lots of fun on my trip :)

Traveling and Gaga

So I'm going to travel to Nigeria in two days with my family. I haven't been there for 8 years so I probably won't recognize anything... Well anyway my B-day is on June 22 so I'm gonna have it overseas and knowingly my family, there are going to be a lot people there who I do not know. The most exciting part of the trip for me is going on the airplane cuz I luvz airplanes :).

Today I watched a kevjumba video on youtube about when he went to Kenya for a day to teach some kids there. It was nice that he would travel all that way for that and he looked like he had fun.

Mao's Last Dancer

So I just finished watching the movie mao's last dancer and it was amazing. The main character was such a great ballet dancer. I was speechless everytime he danced. Also, the story was touching- it almost made me cry. I have been trying to restrain myself from crying during movies or shows because I've been doing that a lot. Like when I was watching the beginning of Shining inheritance (a kdrama) I was crying and my mom was looking at me like I had problems T_T.

So the new episodes of my shows haven't come out yet so I had to watch anime (don't judge me). So I watched Uraboku and it was pretty good even though the relatonships between the guys were really close- almost gay. And the main character was reincarnated as a boy instead of a girl so it was awkward between him and his lover...

So i'm learning hungul- the Korean alphabet and i'm up to Syllable construction. I don't know what the words mean but I can read it! I feel so accomplished.

Lately

So I've been watching a lot of Kdramas and this one Taiwanese rama called MARS. It was pretty good. I really connected with the psociopath inside the story called Tong Dao. Even thoug he tried to kill the girl and he stabbed the guy, he was pretty hot. And his expressions were funny- at least to me. his creepiness was kinda cute. Anyway I watched a bunch of other stuff like Who's The One/My Perfect Man. It's a pretty good show. But what I'm dwelling on right now is that my class rank went down to a 5!!!! Ugh! Even though my GPA went up to a 4.375. Man I'm so freaking pissed. To feel better I made myself some of the otis Spunkenmeyer cookies I got from the band fundraiser. They are DELICIOUS!! Even the oatmeal raisin( I usually don't like oatmeal raisin). i'm watching a Korean movie called Finding Mr. Perfect. It's pretty good. I'm being lazy and watching the movie even thoug I'm supposed to be learning the Satisfaction dance originally by Park Shin Hye. But I'm so lazy...

A Long Time

So its been a long time since I've last posted something. This is because I have been workig on a lot of stuff. First of all I started three new kdramas. The one I am most interesteed in is Can You Hear My Heart. It has Kim Jae Won in it (> <)! I was so excited cuz I love Jae Won and cuz he hasn't been in many dramas ( he had to go to the army). The others are The greatest love and Romance Town. I think I am going to start a new one soon...

Practice

So today in our band class, 4 of my friends and I were supposed to practice for our clarinet quartet but we only did so for about 30 minutes. The rest of the time we just played around with other instruments and talked. There is a storm outside and I haven't left school yet so I am writing this from the library. I ws actually hoping to watch some show but I have to wait until the librarian sits down so she won't see me. I think she is spending extra time walking around because because she suspects what I'm about to do. I need a new dress before Mother's Day so I need ideas... and money.

Psychotic

Just finished watching Black Swan. I thought it was sad that she turned all psychotic because she wanted to be perfect in Swan Lake. But I also found it kind of amusing how she stabbed herself and didn't realize it until before the last act of the play. It was hilarious.

Forking... and cookies

A couple days ago 4 of my friends and I were sitting at the lunch table talking about our classes. Then the subject changed to spooning. Of course i did not know what that was because I can be naive sometimes. But It wasn't really that bad. But then we came to forking and that ws horrible. What made it hilarious though was when my friend Anthony demonstrated with his fingers. I laughed for about three minutes straight.
By the way, spooning is when a guy is behind a girl but might not be doing someting. However, forking is when a guy's two legs is between a girl's two legs... and they might be naked... well I'll let you figure out the rest for yourself.

The alfajores cookies that I spent hours making turned out good and my friends like it so I'm felling pretty happy right now. But not that happy because I have to write a persuasive report for Lit. which I have to turn in tomorow... Maybe I should start it?

Yesterday...

Had a band concert yesterday and our band totally dominated the other bands. But I had to WALK home. I was so freaking pissed the whole time. Then I had to go home and finish the dulce de leche I was making for some peruvian cookies which took like an hour. I endeed up going to sleep at 12 AM which was annoying. My mom even made me do my chores. As if she doesn't know I had a band concert! So now i'm pissed. But not that pissed cuz my best friend's two ex boyfriends from middle school showed up and she's super paranoid, which makes me laugh. It's like she's psycho when she's paranoid. Gotta watch out for her...

Oh shoot. Gotta study for a AP Human Geo test. Totally forget to do that....

¿Te pornas?

One of my friends created a new spanish word in our geo class a few days ago. It is pornar which means to porn (I found it hilarious). So we've been using that word in some sentences asking people ¿Te pornas? It's funny to see their reaction because they have no idea what we're talking about.

Also, yesterday my friend Ricardo was attacked by one of my other friends (in a playful way). I was laughing the whole time while he was pulled out of his chair kicking and screaming.

Still kinda freaking out about what my friend told that senior.

Really?

So, this is my first blog post. Just started this as a side thing.
Anyway today, my friend told me about something she had told some senior a month ago, about ME! When I heard it I totally freaked out and screamed and stuff. (That's why this post is called Really?) But I'm totally over it now...mostly. Just wish she had told me first(you know who you are!)

So now I have to do some outline for Lit which i'm actually not going to do until tommorow...

Oh yeah. Today we had a feast in class so by the end of school I was falling asleep. Then my friends ate all the food I had left so I had to walk home with NOTHING to eat.

Today was pajama day and I totally forgot so when I got to school I was like F**K
Well  maybe next year... if I remember...
